Online Summer and Fall Experience

Due to current state government travel restrictions and CDC social distancing guidelines, the REALISD Project will be held virtually in 2021.
Summer Experience
There will be a one day kickoff interactive virtual event in late July 2021.
Fall Experience
To be followed from the summer event by interactive virtual modules throughout Fall of 2021. Participants will learn about supporting STEM education in their schools through using digital tools and resources. All materials will be shipped to participants. Participants will learn from experts in the areas and former REALISD attendees about: STEM area standards, the role of the school librarian in supporting STEM education, digital resources to utilize for STEM teaching and learning, and connecting with their local community.

Program Funding
Tuition and student materials will be funded from IMLS! There will be NO cost to participants of this project.
CourseworkParticipants will register for and earn a three-credit hour course at either UWG or UB, depending on their location. These credits can be applied toward certification renewal, as required for certified school librarians.
